Conor McGregor blew his chance for a rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov by chasing a fight against Dustin Poirier and a return to the ring against Manny Pacquiao, claims Dana White.
Lightweight champion Khabib is preparing to face Justin Gaethje at UFC 254 on October 24, while McGregor wants to fight Poirier before the end of the year, although UFC want it to take place on January 23.
McGregor once again hung up his gloves in June for the third time in four years, but last week claimed that he has accepted UFC’s offer for a rematch against Poirier.

‘That’s what I was saying. I felt like I was in a good place and I was gonna get that done. So we were gonna do the Ultimate Fighter on ESPN and f*****g do the rematch. But Conor blew that.
