Jake Paul calls fans ‘dumb as f***’ after being booed during Tommy Fury weigh-in

Jake Paul lashed out at the booing Saudi Arabia crowd, labelling them all as “dumb as f***”.

The former Disney star and YouTuber appears to have taken up the role of pantomime villain ahead of his eagerly anticipated clash against Tommy Fury. He may have knocked out former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley on two successive occasions, and he may have out-boxed UFC great Anderson Silva, but Fury will be the first professional boxer he has ever taken on.

After many years of vicious insults online and in person, the two will finally step into the squared circle in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. However, he does not appear to have the backing of the Saudi crowd as he weighed-in amidst a backdrop of jeers and boos.

Without drawing a breath, Paul managed to launch a verbal offensive against Fury and the hundreds of people who gathered to watch their weigh-in. “He’s acting on stage, getting all hyped up and trying to act like his brother,” Paul said, referencing Fury’s half-brother Tyson.

“And all of you people are booing. You’re dumb as f*** too. This professional boxer is going down man, it’s easy, it’s simple.

“I’m ready, calm, cool, collected, and this is what I do. He’s never been in a moment like that. He’s shaking, he’s there up on stage doing the interview like this. You can see his nerves running through his system.

“He can’t stop moving, I’m chill, I’m a real killer, I don’t have to do all of that acting s***, I’m a real f***ing dog, this is how I do it.” Paul may be a novice when it comes down to boxing, but his bout against the former Love Island contestant is threatening to be one of the most watched bouts of the year.

In the US, the fight will be broadcast on pay-per-view for a whopping $49.99 (approximately £41.84), while British fans tuning into BT Sport Box Office will pay around £19.95. However, Paul is not phased by the pressure or attention the fight is getting.

When asked if he ever expected to be headlining a pay-per-view of this nature, Paul swiftly replied, “One-hundred per-cent man, this is destiny. Simple as that. We’re the biggest in the business, we do the biggest shows, and we knock people out, that’s what I’m bringing tomorrow and you all are going to see that.”
