Logan Paul backed to beat Mike Tyson in exhibition after Floyd Mayweather flop
Logan Paul has been backed to defeat Iron Mike Tyson in a boxing match by former opponent KSI, who claimed “you’ve got to remember that this isn’t Tyson who’s 18, this is Tyson who’s 55.”
Paul most recently faced Floyd Mayweather on June 6 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. While the former five-weight world champion was expected to knock out Paul without breaking much of a sweat, the YouTuber stunned fans by surviving the full eight rounds.
Due to the bout’s unique ruleset, no winner was declared and while some suggested Mayweather wasn’t trying at all and could’ve ended the fight whenever he wanted, others argued Paul had claimed the moral victory.
It appears KSI, real name Olajide Olatunji, was impressed by Paul’s showing and believes the Maverick could compete with another member of boxing’s royalty; namely, Iron Mike Tyson.
"Bro, with you and Tyson, I think you could beat Tyson," KSI said while appearing on Paul's 'Impaulsive' podcast.
"I know people are going to be like 'oh what the f*** JJ?' But, bro, you've got to remember that this isn't Tyson who's 18, this is Tyson who's 55.
"He's a legend. But people don't understand that we train like boxers man, because we're going in there with the world watching.”

Paul and KSI faced off in two boxing matches. The first, an amateur bout held at the Manchester Arena, went the distance and was scored as a majority draw.
In the second bout, a professional bout held at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles, KSI won via split decision.
Even though Paul has still never officially won a boxing match, he also appears confident in his own ability to pull off the unthinkable and recently told TMZ that he would knock out Mayweather in a rematch.
“Let me ask you what you'd rather see – Jake Paul vs Floyd or me vs Floyd again?
"Because, let me tell you something, if I fight Floyd again, I promise I'll knock him out
"I've got him figured out. I got it. At the end of the eighth round, he was breathing heavy. I was coming alive.
"It's going to be a 10 or 12-round fight, if we run it back, and this time I finish him."
