The highly anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul has been confirmed.

The boxing legend and YouTuber have rearranged their exhibition fight after the previous February date was taken off the table.

Mayweather Promotions announced the news on Twitter, writing: "The historic crossover event is signed and sealed.

"Mayweather v Paul live at Hard Rock, Sunday, June 6th."

The pair will face off in Miami after months of discussions of rescheduling.

The undefeated boxer, who proudly declares himself as the greatest of all time will face the YouTube star who has more than 20 million subscribers.

Mayweather, 44, hasn't fought as a professional for four years after he defeated Conor McGregor by knockout.

His last world title bout was in 2015, and since then he has focused on exhibition bouts, with his most recent time in the ring against kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in 2018.

The legend won't be putting his record on the line for the fight with his long-term manager, Leonard Ellerbe, saying the event would be "nothing like" what the star has done before.

His team described the fight as a "historic crossover event" as the YouTube boxing phenomenon continues to take over the sport.

It'll be the veteran's third crossover event since McGregor and Nasukawa.

Logan Paul, 26, is joined in the boxing world by brother Jake, 24, who beat former MMA star Ben Askren earlier this month.

The fight will take place on a Sunday to not clash with a pay-per-view fight with Triller on Saturday, June 5.
