Tyson Fury has shown that he is human after all as the Gypsy King was filmed being terrified by his training partner ahead of his showdown against Oleksandr Usyk. The pair are expected to meet for their keenly awaited unification fight on April 29 at London’s Wembley Stadium – but contracts are yet to be signed.
Usyk provided a fresh update on the negotiations at the weekend confirming that the final terms of agreement have been sent to Fury. With just over five weeks until their rumoured fight date both fighters are in their respective training camps expecting a deal to be finally signed.
WBC international featherweight champion Isaac Lowe is part of Fury’s fight camp and posted a video of the star walking through the gym. Unbeknown to the Gypsy King one of his training partners was hiding behind a corner and jumped out at him.
Fury was visibly shaken before turning around to the camera and stating: “He’s got me again, you useless b******. He had me yesterday.” Fury has come under criticism from pundits after first demanding a 70-30 purse split and then calling for there to be no rematch clause.

This prompted heavyweight world champion Usyk to accuse Fury of “ducking” him, while talkSPORT presenter Simon Jordan questioned “the purpose” of the Gypsy King’s latest demand. Unbeaten Fury then released a further video vowing to knock out the Ukrainian and branding Jordan a “little b****”.
“I can’t wait,” screamed Fury in a video posted on his Instagram story. “I’m in the best shape of my life, I’m f***ing ready to rock and roll. Fury turned the camera to his personal trainer Kristian Blacklock, who screamed “He’s a monster” before the Gypsy King concluded the video by yelling “I’m a monster.”

Fury has an unbeaten heavyweight record of 33-0 with many believing his ‘monster’ comment, but showed his human side during the training. The Gypsy King could be nervous ahead of the unification fight and rival promoter Eddie Hearn believes Fury is not ‘physically ready’ for the showdown.
“I don’t think you need the time to promote it – It’s a big enough fight – but time to get ready,” Hearne told iD Boxing. “Tyson Fury physically doesn’t look ready for six weeks. But he never has done really, and he’s proved everybody wrong before. So maybe he takes the fight.”
