The medical subs

No late changes for either side tonight.

The Tigers will have Patrick Naish standing by as medical sub while Lachlan McNeil will again fill the medical sub role for the Bulldogs.

Bulldogs hold their fire, opt for Schache over Ugle-Hagan debut

The Western Bulldogs have again held fire on handing a debut to no.1 draft pick Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, despite making four changes to their side to face Richmond because of injury.

Josh Schache, Rhylee West, Pat Lipinski and Mitch Hannan have come into the Bulldogs’ side for the big Friday night game, the latter set to make his club debut after moving to the Whitten Oval from Melbourne in the off-season.

The Dogs have an embarrassment of riches performing well at VFL level, with last season’s top forward performer Mitch Wallis still out of the senior side.

Good evening

G’day everyone! I’m Roy Ward and I’ll be tapping the keys for tonight’s AFL blockbuster between Richmond and Western Bulldogs.

We have an awesome game to come between the premier team of the past five years in the Richmond Tigers and one of the fast-rising clubs in the AFL in the Western Bulldogs who have thrived in the opening six weeks of the AFL season.

Please feel free to leave a comment on the blog and stay with us post-game for coverage of the comments from both clubs.

Enjoy the night to come. Game starts at 7.50pm AEST.
