Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are among the Premier League big-hitters who could see a plethora of star players walk away for free at the end of the season as they are now able to negotiate contract terms with overseas clubs. The transfer window opened at the start of January and a whole host of players could be on the move. Express Sport takes a look at the players the big six clubs could be about to lose.
The future of World Cup winner Paul Pogba has been up in the air for months and he could land a mega-money move to a rival European powerhouse.
Paris Saint-Germain appear to be leading the race for his signature, while Juventus, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are also thought to be interested.
The Red Devils could also be set to lose Jesse Lingard if the winger decides to depart Old Trafford for pastures new.
Lingard turned down a permanent move to West Ham last summer and will almost certainly be regretting his decision after failing to secure a regular starting place in Manchester.
Edinson Cavani, meanwhile, will surely walk away at the end of the season if he doesn’t agree a move in January. Barcelona are reportedly interested in taking the forward to the Nou Camp this month.
And Juan Mata is likely to exit the 13-times Premier League champions after failing to make a single Premier League appearance this campaign.

Chelsea could be hit hard in their backline this summer, with four of their star defenders out of contract.
Antonio Rudiger has refused to put pen-to-paper on a new deal at Stamford Bridge, with player and club coming to an impasse in recent months.
Meanwhile, Andreas Christensen is yet to sign a new contract with the Blues after apparently demanding a higher salary.
If veteran defenders Thiago Silva and Cesar Azpilicueta decide to walk away from west London, boss Thomas Tuchel could have a huge rebuilding job on his hands come the summer.
Liverpool could lose James Milner at the end of the season. The versatile midfielder is now 35 years old but has continued to deputise in a number of positions this campaign.
Divock Origi is also out of contract in the summer and could look to move to a club where he would be guaranteed more minutes.
Alexandre Lacazette appeared destined to leave the Emirates Stadium after the club supposedly told the striker in November that they wouldn’t be offering him a new deal.
But the France international has since forced his way into Mikel Arteta’s line-up – so the Gunners may now be desperate to keep him.
Lacazette could be one of five Arsenal players to leave the club when their contracts expire later this year.
Squad players Eddie Nketiah, Mohamed Elneny, Calum Chambers and Sead Kolasinac are all coming to the end of their deals as well.
Premier League champions Manchester City have been judicious when it comes to tying their star players down to long-term contracts at the Etihad Stadium.
Fernandinho was apparently close to leaving City last summer but eventually signed a one-year extension.
At 36 years old, the Brazil international could be set for one final hurrah at a rival club before hanging up his boots.
City could also lose Serbian midfielder Luka Ilic as well as veteran keeper Scott Carson.
The good news for Tottenham is that they only have one player coming to the end of his contract in north London this summer.
The bad news is the fact that the player in question is captain and World Cup-winning goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
If Lloris does walk away for free, manager Antonio Conte will face a big task replacing the 35-year-old.
