- Barcelona want to sign Lautaro Martinez and include players in a swap deal
- They have put names to Inter Milan but the Italians are not keen on Arturo Vidal
- Antonio Conte does not want him despite working closely with him at Juventus
Arturo Vidal will not be included in a swap deal between Barcelona and Inter Milan for striker Lautaro Martinez, according to reports.
Reports in Spain suggest that negotiations are still taking place over a deal that would see the Argentina striker move to the Nou Camp in the summer transfer window.
And Marca are claiming that Barcelona want to include players as part of the move to bring down the asking price.
Barcelona and Inter Milan are still in talks over a possible move for striker Lautaro Martinez
There is a €111million (£99.7m) release clause in Martinez’s deal at the San Siro.
But Barcelona are not willing to spend that much in the summer on a player they view as a long-term replacement for Luis Suarez.
They have instead put forward a number of their players as possible options for Inter to pick from – and the Italian side are in the process of deciding which they want.
But Inter are not interested in signing midfielder Arturo Vidal as part of the deal for Martinez
Vidal, however, is not being considered by Inter, despite his close relationship with their manager Antonio Conte.
The pair worked closely together at Juventus and helped turn them into the juggernaut they are today.
Conte is still not keen on him, instead preferring the likes of Nelson Semedo and Junior Firpo.

Both Jean-Clair Todibo and Samuel Umtiti have also been offered to Inter as part of the deal – although the latter is not keen on leaving the Catalan club.
Inter boss Conte is also thought to be particularly keen on Ivan Rakitic and would want him to be an option, but the midfielder has made it clear that he does not want a move.
‘If the Lautaro deal depends on me going in the opposite direction, I don’t think it will get done,’ Rakitic admitted in an interview with COPE.
