A beleaguered Barcelona are desperate for a win against Dynamo Kyiv as they face an early exit from the Champions League after defeat in their opening two matches has left them bottom of Group E.

Under-pressure Ronald Koeman passed the first of a series of tests that will help him keep his job at the Nou Camp with Sunday’s 3-1 victory over his former club Valencia.

But tonight presents a much more significant fixture as usually at this stage in the competition three games in Barcelona would be looking to add easy points to secure qualification, instead they’re facing a battle to keep their campaign alive.

Barcelona will be without the suspended Eric Garcia following his red card against Benfica on matchday two, while Pedri, Ousmane Dembele, Martin Braithwaite and Ronald Araujo remain sidelined through injury.

Barca sit rock bottom of Group E as they battle to make it through to the last 16, while Kiev are one place above with a grand total of one point.

Meanwhile six points from six places Bayern Munich comfortably at the top of their group but Julian Nagelsmann’s side face their toughest challenge so far in Benfica who are only two points behind.
