Ceballos told Vamos: ‘I haven’t spoken to Zidane since I left Madrid. It has to be difficult to have a dressing room with so many players. I don’t think Zidane talks to the loan players.’
After joining from Real Betis in 2017, Ceballos spent two seasons at Real Madrid under Zidane.
During that period Ceballos made 56 appearances, scored five goals and provided two assists.
The Spaniard has featured 24 times while on loan at Arsenal and made an instant impression on his first start for the Gunners against Burnley in August.

Ceballos endured a difficult spell thereafter, with injuries not helping his cause, but he had managed to work his way into the starting lineup for Mikel Arteta’s side before football was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Although his contract at The Bernabeu is set to run until the summer of 2023, it wouldn’t be a major surprise if Ceballos was to leave Real Madrid permanently this summer.
