Dimitar Berbatov makes Premier League predictions including Man Utd vs Man City
Dimitar Berbatov backed Manchester City to edge Manchester United to victory on derby day as he made his Premier League predictions.
United welcome their local rivals to Old Trafford on Saturday evening, while the day's action also includes a clash between Everton and Chelsea in the late kick-off.
On Sunday, league-leaders Tottenham bid to continue their fine form as they travel to Crystal Palace, while Liverpool are in hot pursuit and face Fulham.
The weekend is rounded off with Leicester versus Brighton and Arsenal's home clash with Burnley on Sunday night.
Without further ado, here are Betfair ambassador Berbatov's Premier League predictions in full for matchday 12.
Wolves vs Aston Villa (Sat 12:30)
This is a big game for the area. Last time out Wolves were hammered by Liverpool, and they will want to put that right. Aston Villa have been playing well recently, but I think Wolves will be determined to put their last result behind them and what a way to do it with a win in this one. Prediction: 2-1.
Newcastle vs West Brom (Sat 15:00)
I’ve said it before but I think West Brom will be one of the relegated teams this year, it’s just not working out for them at the moment. Newcastle had their match postponed last time, so their players will be looking forward to getting back out there. Prediction: 2-0.
Man Utd vs Man City (Sat 17:30)
Oh my god! Coming from the last match, if United play anything like they did in the first half when they take on City, I don’t see anything good coming for them in this one. If they correct themselves and they don’t let two goals in and wake up to start playing, they should be fine. [Ole Gunnar] Solskjaer has an impressive record recently and he’s had the better of Pep [Guardiola]. In this one though, coming off the back of the result midweek, I think it will be difficult. Prediction: 1-2.
Everton vs Chelsea (Sat 20:00)
Dominic Calvert-Lewin is scoring goals for Everton and as a striker when you’re in good form you want the next game to come as soon as possible because you feel powerful, in shape, prepared and you have the feeling that you can score a goal from anywhere on the pitch. I think he can cause problems for [Frank] Lampard’s side, so they will have to do a job to keep him quiet. Prediction: 1-1.
Southampton vs Sheffield Utd (Sun 12:00)

Well, this is an obvious one with the way Sheffield United are going, but that being said something has to change there, they were so close to getting a point against Leicester, they just need to stay strong and believe. I’m going to go for the surprise here, because they have to get the points. Prediction: 0-1.
Crystal Palace vs Tottenham (Sun 14:15)
Spurs need to win these types of games, even if it is a scruffy game, they just need to take the three points, it doesn’t matter if you have a bad game or you’re not quite on form, you need to find a way to just win. If they do that then it’s a good sign that they can go all the way, if not, winning 3-0 is even better. Prediction: 0-1.
Fulham vs Liverpool (Sun 16:30)
Looking at this one on paper, the difference in class is too much here. Liverpool, even with their third goalkeeper, look to be too much for teams at the moment. They are a great side and I think it will be a tricky one for Fulham. Prediction: 0-3.
Arsenal vs Burnley (Sun 19:15)
Well, if Arsenal don’t win this against Burnley, no disrespect to Burnley, but they don’t deserve to be in the top half of the table fighting for anything. I will back Arsenal in this one though, they need the win and if they don’t get it then even more pressure will be on them and Arteta. Prediction: 2-0.
Leicester vs Brighton (Sun 19:15)
Brighton aren’t a bad side, they have played some good football but the results haven’t been reflecting that. I will go for Leicester in this one, [Jamie] Vardy is scoring and I really like watching him play, even if it’s the last minute of the game it’s no problem for him, as soon as he gets through on goal that it. Bam. Prediction: 2-1.
