Wolves fans have aimed a hilarious X-rated chant at Gary Neville on Friday – but he took it in good humour.

Julen Lopetegui’s side travelled to Craven Cottage to face Fulham in the first Premier League game of the weekend.

The Midlands side’s supporters were stationed next to the Sky Sports punditry box containing Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

And with fans goading him by repeatedly labelling him a ‘w*****’, Neville filmed the song and showed himself laughing along.

As shown by the Manchester United icon releasing the video on social media, colleague Carragher – a jokey rival – told Neville to ‘let it breathe’ as others in the studio chuckled.

Manchester United icon Neville filmed the song on his phone before posting it on social media

Neville posted it on his Twitter page with the caption: ‘Gary Neville is a W………’, followed by a cry-laughing emoji.

With fans seemingly aware Neville was laughing along with them, they clap him sportingly towards the end of the video.

Wolves went in at half-time 1-0 up thanks to a goal from Pablo Sarabia.

On Tuesday, Neville doubled down on his suspicion the reviled Glazer owners will stay at Man United despite welcoming takeover bids.

The club recently announced an increase on season ticket prices, with the former England right back questioning why the Americans would introduce something they would not benefit from.
