Granit Xhaka unleashes ‘inner Ronaldinho’ with completely needless skill
Granit Xhaka has been lauded for channelling his 'inner Ronaldinho' as he produced a bit of uncharacteristic showboating against Norwich on Boxing Day.
Norwich remained marooned to the bottom of the Premier League table thanks to a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Mikel Arteta's side.
Arsenal, on the other hand, have been on something of a resurgence in recent weeks.
And Xhaka was seen controlling a cross-field ball with his back before spinning around and leading an Arsenal attack.
Gunners fans were quick to spot the piece of skill on Twitter, and gleefully reacted to the Swiss international's actions.
One fan tweeted: "Norwich City need to get relegated for this alone. Xhaka is probably the last player I’d imagine doing that. Man stealing souls out there."
"Nah this is too disrespectful. When Xhaka starts summoning his inner Ronaldinho against you, you need to liquidate your football club," another joked.
A third joked: "You know you've been walloped when Xhaka pulls out the slow-mo samba skills."
"Should’ve been given a second yellow for that," a fourth joked at the audacity of Xhaka.

Arsenal have now won their last five games in all competitions, and their run of form has seen their rocket up to fourth in the Premier League.
“We looked really sharp and committed," Arteta told the BBC.
"It’s a big win for us. I am really pleased. The amount of chances we create is pleasing.
“We go to every ground to try and impose our game. Today was a really good example. The unity we have around the club and with our fans is very pleasing.”
