Aston Villa assistant John Terry has delivered a glowing assessment of in-demand attacker Jack Grealish, comparing him to former team-mates Eden Hazard and Joe Cole.
Grealish has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United in the next transfer window and it appears that his boyhood club Villa will have a battle to convince him to stay, even if they secure their Premier League status.
And Terry has backed Grealish to go all the way to the very top of the game.

Speaking to Villa fans during a Q&A on the club’s website, Terry said: ‘I think he’s similar to Joe Cole and Eden Hazard.
‘I just think the natural ability he’s got and that Joe Cole had, a god-given talent that not many people are blessed with but he’s certainly got.
‘The way he glides past people – he’s quick, but not many people know it. I don’t think he knows how quick he is.
‘He’s a tremendous talent, he gets a lot of fouls in the Championship and now in the Premier League. People don’t know how to stop him.’
Terry said that working at close quarters with the 24-year-old has shown him just how good he is.

Terry also said that Grealish is reminiscent of another Chelsea team-mate in Joe Cole
‘You see a lot of players from the outside, but when you go to a club and you’re working with players on a daily basis, you just see how much of a huge talent he really is,’ Terry added.
‘Jack’s a phenomenal talent. It’s been a real pleasure to see him grow, work and develop over the last year, two years. He’s shown the whole world this season that he’s more than capable of playing at the top level.’
Grealish has scored nine goals in 31 games for Villa this season before the 2019-20 season was halted due to the coronavirus outbreak.
