Inter Milan launch bold new kit to celebrate logo change, but fans are disgusted

Inter Milan have unveiled a special kit to celebrate the launch of their controversial new club badge – and fans absolutely hate it.

The current Serie A leaders have made the shock decision to change their crest for the first time in 14 years, replacing it with a new streamlined variation of the much-loved original that will be worn from next season onwards.

Fans were not best pleased with the bold decision to alter the badge, but they've been left even more furious after Inter released images of a striking new kit to go with it.

As part of their rebrand Inter have also unveiled a 'Special Jersey' which forms part of the I M Collection, a capsule of limited-edition clothing from Nike.

The design, inspired by Italian artist Giorgio Muggiani, features a number of geometric patterns and shapes along with the famous Nerazzurri stripes as part of a small rectangular patch on the chest.

The rest of Inter's new shirt has plenty going on, with a random assortment of hoops, bars, prints and blocks.

It is an eye-catching design to say the least, and Nerazzurri fans have taken to Twitter to express their disgust with it.

One wrote: "Nahhhhhh. I'm sorry but this looks bad. What is this?"

Another commented: "I hope the league doesn't allow this monstrosity on the pitch".

A third simply put: "Yikes"
