Liverpool could reportedly have a big say in whether Martin Odegaard remains an Arsenal player next season. Odegaard is currently on loan at Arsenal from Real Madrid after signing a six-month deal in January. The 22-year-old has become a key part of Mikel Arteta’s side in recent weeks.
Arsenal would like Odegaard to remain with them next season, either in a permanent deal or on another loan.
The Norwegian made just nine first-team appearances in the first half of this campaign under Zinedine Zidane at Real.
The lack of game time forced him to look for a move away in the winter transfer window.
And his long-term future could depend on how long Zidane remains in charge at the Bernabeu.

Football Insider say Zidane will happily allow Odegaard to leave on a permanent deal or a loan next season if he is still in charge.
However, there are doubts over whether the France legend will remain in his current role.
Real are third in La Liga, six points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
Football Insider say Real’s season may hinge on the Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool next month.

Defeat for Real could see Zidane leave the club and therefore give Odegaard another chance to prove he is good enough for Los Blancos.
Football.london say Odegaard has privately told friends he would like to extend his stay at Arsenal.
However, a Liverpool win could change everything if Zidane were to leave.
Odegaard is currently on international duty with Norway.
And he refused to give anything away over his future when speaking earlier this week.
“I haven’t thought about what’ll happen in summer,” Odegaard told Norwegian outlet VG.
“My deal with Arsenal is until the end of season. We’ll see what happens this summer.
“I’ve said things before that I still stand for: Stability and development are key words.”
Arsenal boss Arteta described Odegaard as “incredible” following his performance in last Sunday’s 3-3 draw at West Ham.
“I think he had an incredible performance,” said Arteta.
“I think he was very intelligent the way he read the game, the way he affected the game and again he showed how much he wanted to win.
“When everyone was a little trembling he gave us that stability and that composure on the ball and he created chance after chance.
“He’s been showing that, I think, from week one. The way he steps on the pitch, he always wants the ball, the way he commands the pressing. He’s been really influential.”
