Liverpool have been in scintillating form this season and have lost just twice in 25 Premier League and Champions League outings. Despite losing to Leicester City on Tuesday night, Jurgen Klopp’s side are second in the league table and will be looking to keep pace with leaders Manchester City over the coming months.

Liverpool’s tantalising front three of Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane have been prolific once again, with the trio already bagging an incredible 43 goals between them this term.

Jota has forced his way into the front three this season, with Roberto Firmino increasingly having to settle for a place on the bench.

The Portugal international has bagged 25 goals in 52 games since moving to Anfield from Wolves for £41million last autumn.

Klopp and transfer chief Michael Edwards got it right on that occasion, as they so often do.

And now the pair could turn their attentions to another Premier League star who is making a name for himself away from the so called big six.

West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen has been a standout player in east London this season and has played a key role in helping the Hammers climb to fifth in the Premier League table.

The 25-year-old already has nine top-flight assists to his name this campaign as well as three goals.

In fact, it was his performance against the Reds at London Stadium in November which helped the Hammers secure a 3-2 victory.

Bowen, who joined West Ham from Hull City at the start of last year, laid on two assists during that encounter as Liverpool suffered the first of their two losses this season.

The talented Englishman would tick a lot of boxes for Klopp and could provide the Reds with another mouthwatering attacking option.

He has plenty of Premier League experience and has proved than he can cut it against the best players in the country.

And he is still at an age where his best years are ahead of him.

Bowen is homegrown, has an exceptional work ethic and can play in a number of attacking positions.

A move to Liverpool would clearly be the biggest of his career, which means he won’t necessarily be disappointed if he doesn’t start every week.

He could bide his time on the bench, like Jota has done, and then force his way into the line-up and make his mark.

According to Transfermarkt, Bowen is currently valued at £31.5million, so he won’t come cheap if West Ham do agree to let him go.

But Bowen is surely a player who can rival Salah, Mane and Jota and help Liverpool battle for domestic and European honours for seasons to come.
