Liverpool target, 17, "not impressed" by speculation linking him with Reds move

Liverpool transfer target Kacper Kozlowski claims he is “not impressed” by a host of big clubs who are interested in signing him.

The Polish wonder-kid has garnered attention from several of Europe’s elite sides including the Reds, after impressive performances for Pogon Szczecin over the past two seasons.

Kozlowski, 17, has already made five appearances for the Polish national team before becoming an adult, breaking Jude Bellingham’s record as the youngest ever to play at the European Championships this summer.

But despite Polish outlet Interia Sport reporting that AC Milan, Liverpool and Juventus are all racing to sign the teenager, he remains unfazed by the rumours.

He said:"I try to cut myself off from this type of information. Let my agent handle it.

“I don't know what I will do tomorrow, much less whether I will finish the season in Pogon or leave in January. I don't think about it, I do my own thing.

“And big names. They do not impress me.

“My dream is to play in this class of club in the future, but I think that the best thing to do is to apply the principle of small steps to reach the goal”.

The attacking midfielder burst onto the scene last season where he made 20 appearances in the Ekstraklasa.

He is valued at €5million (£4.2million) by football website Transfermarkt, due to his achievements at such a young age.

Kozlowski made two appearances for the national team at the Euros, coming off the bench but being unable to guide his side out of the group stages.

He will join the squad again for the upcoming international fixtures against San Marino and Albania after being selected by Paulo Sousa.
