Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has five wonderkids who can save Glazers millions
Man Utd: Defensive frailties frustrate Solskjaer
Manchester United’s owners, the Glazers, are currently basking in the glory of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Super Bowl triumph. And things could be about to get better for the Americans, with the Red Devils’ academy in the process of producing more superstars. Express Sport will now take a look at the five wonderkids who can save them millions in the years ahead.
The summer transfer window of 2019 saw United land established players Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire.
But Hannibal Mejbri also arrived, with the youngster signing on from Monaco.
While he’s yet to future for the first team, the talented teenager has made quite a name for himself behind the scenes.
United insiders have been impressed by his bravery, with the 18-year-old unfazed by being on the receiving end of some brutal challenges.
And with four goals and seven assists from 17 matches at youth level this term, there’s already talk of him being promoted to the first team.

United have another young gem in Shola Shoretire.
The 17-year-old signed a professional contract with the club earlier this month after attracting interest from the likes of Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich.
Like Mejbri, he’s a player who is set to be training with the first team sooner, rather than later. Potentially by the end of the week.

Shoretire has sparkled at youth level and Solskjaer could use him before the end of the campaign.
He’s given youth a chance throughout his spell in charge with the likes of Brandon Williams, Mason Greenwood and Co getting debuts during his reign.
United signed Amad from Atalanta earlier in the year, bringing him to Old Trafford in a £37million deal.
And the 18-year-old has made a sensational start to life at the club, producing electric displays against Liverpool and Blackburn so far.
Solskjaer has hinted that a debut for the Ivorian isn’t too far away.
And while they’ve spent money on him, he could save them plenty of cash in the years.
Especially when you consider Jadon Sancho, formerly the club’s transfer target, has a price tag in the region of £90m.
Facundo Pellistri has joined Deportivo Alaves on loan until the end of the season.
But United are already sold on the Uruguayan, who arrived from Club Atletico Penarol back in the summer.
They believe he’s ready for first-team action after impressing at youth level.
And, like Diallo, he can flourish on the flanks.
United have struggled in that department over the years but, now, have two players who could be their solutions in the future.
