Man Utd defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka names Prem rival as his toughest opponent
Aaron Wan-Bissaka has labelled Manchester City's Raheem Sterling as his toughest opponent.
The Englishman has been a crucial part of the club's success in recent years having been transformed under Pep Guardiola.
The two Manchester clubs have played each other four times this season having been drawn together in the last four of the Carabao Cup.
But while Wan-Bissaka has praised the 25-year-old he has also relished their contests.
He told the club's website : "I’d say Raheem Sterling; those are the battles I've enjoyed the most.
"He keeps going, just keeps on coming at you. Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t get past you in one challenge, he keeps coming back for more every time.
"That’s what I like. I’ve been happy with my performances in both league derbies and the results both times were just what we needed.
"The second one was just before lockdown, and that was an incredible afternoon. We were prepared for that game and we showed that as a team on the pitch."
The £50m summer recruit has been a consistent performer in an inconsistent United side this term.
