Man Utd fans in agreement over Amad Diallo’s debut as he makes cameo appearance

Manchester United fans are in agreement over Amad Diallo’s senior debut as he made a cameo appearance in the win over Real Sociedad.

The 18-year-old, who arrived from Atalanta in January, was given just under 15 minutes of time in the Europa League round-of-32 first leg win.

It comes after some impressive performances for the U23s, notching four goals and three assists from his first three matches with the sides.

And he showed glimpses of that confidence in Turin, contributing to United’s late attacking moves that secured the last goal in their 4-0 victory.

While Diallo tasted victory on the pitch, supporters were in agreement on social media were in awe of his dribbling ability.

“His dribbling was amazing! From what we can see,” one supporter said.

Another commented: “The way he plays the ball – we have got a baller!”

While a third wished he had been given more of a chance, with: “Decent debut. Didn't get enough time to do much but looked alright in the game.”

And a fourth added: “His movement on the ball is absolutely world class. 3 take ons completely, more than any player in the 2nd half and he came on at 80+ mins.”

A fifth was reminded of a legendary World Cup winner, with: “Giving me Ronaldinho vibes.”

But one supporter was reminded of a United hero, commenting: “Watching Amad Diallo speed and dribbling skills, it reminds me of Cristiano [Ronaldo] back in 2003 when we played him against Sporting Lisbon.

“Amad is another beast.”

With a final supporter simply saying: “Good cameo performance.”
