Harry Kane transfer development
Manchester United have been told they have ‘no chance’ of signing Tottenham star Harry Kane.
The Manchester Evening News say sources close to the England international have dismissed the Red Devils’ chances of signing the striker.
It would take a huge fee for Spurs to even remotely entertain the prospect of selling their captain to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side.
And it’s now likely that United will try to sign an alternative instead.
Moussa Dembele and Timo Werner are both admired at Old Trafford having impressed for Lyon and RB Leipzig this season.

Man Utd contact De Ligt alternative
Manchester United have made contact with Samuel Umtiti at a time where they’re looking into signing Matthijs de Ligt.
De Ligt is their top defensive target with the club hopeful they can sign the Juventus star in a swap deal involving Paul Pogba.
But Sport say United have now contacted the camp of Umtiti.
The Barcelona star was a target for the club back when Jose Mourinho ruled the Old Trafford roost.
And with the La Liga giants looking to sell, United could make a move.
