Man Utd transfer target Luka Jovic informs club of decision as Real Madrid set deadline

Luka Jovic has reportedly told Manchester United that he is ready to join the club. The Real Madrid striker is looking to get his career back on track following an underwhelming debut campaign in the Spanish capital.

He cost Los Blancos £55million in 2019 on the back of a stellar campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Things did not go entirely to plan for Jovic though, who managed just two goals in 27 games last season.

Real Madrid eventually won the La Liga title, as Karim Benzema hit 21 goals in a fine individual campaign that saw Jovic starved of opportunities.

It appears Zinedine Zidane is not ready to throw the towel in on Jovic completely.

But it’s Manchester United who appear to be closing in on the forward, according to the Daily Star.

The report claims that Jovic has told the Red Devils he wants to move to Old Trafford.

Talks are now at an advances stage and his future is set to be resolved soon.
