Marina Granovskaia makes transfer decision as Antonio Conte targets three Chelsea players
Chelsea: Lampard opens up on Rice amid transfer talk
Former Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is plotting a transfer raid on his former club, with three players on his Inter wishlist. The Italian is hoping for a big January window in order to bolster his side’s Serie A credentials.
With 12 games gone, the Nerazzuri are just one point behind Milan, but Conte knows it will need to be a busy month in order to achieve his objectives.
Conte is under increasing pressure after his side crashed out of Europe altogether last week, even missing out on the consolatory Europa League.
But with the league to focus on, the 51-year-old has set out a clear plan to Inter chief Giuseppe Marotta.
Tuttomercato report that he will need to offload a number of his squad players in order to be active, with Christian Eriksen and Ivan Perisic both linked with exits.

In terms of incomings, the report suggests that the Italians are in a ‘tug of war’ with Barcelona over bringing Liverpool midfielder Gini Wijnalldum to the San Siro.
As well as Wijnaldum, the article goes onto add that Conte has earmarked Emerson Palmeri, Marcos Alonso and Olivier Giroud as potential targets.
Alonso was signed by Conte during his first summer as Chelsea boss, going on to become a regular in the title winning season in 2016/17.
However, the signing of Ben Chilwell has pushed him down the pecking order, but with two-and-a-haf years remianing on his deal, he will cost any suitors.

Emerson meanwhile, is a lot more likely to leave having seen his gametime almost completely evaporate under Lampard.
The Italian is surplus to requirements since Chilwell’s arrival during the summer window. And even on the occasions the England international hasn’t been available, Alonso has been the man to step in.
Emerson’s agent Fernando Garcia recently confirmed that his client was likely to be on the move, although a loan arrangement was not on the cards.
“Emerson Palmieri to Inter [Milan] on a free loan? Absolutely not,” he told FC Inter News.
“Chelsea wants to possibly monetise his sale. Not having liquidity is a problem.
“Some teams have already made soundings, but I won’t reveal which ones.
“How much would he [Emerson] cost? We haven’t talked about it.”
As for Giroud, it appears highly unlikely he will be on the move, with the Frenchman starting Chelsea’s last three Premier League games, scoring twice, adding to his five strikes in the Champions League.
Lampard has been full of praise for the former Arsenal striker and will surely look to hold onto him for the rest of the season at least.
Tuttomercato add that Chelsea are not looking to ‘sell out’, knowing that the January window will be difficult due to the coronavirus pandemic.
