Nuno Espirito Santo says he will make a decision on Saturday as to whether Harry Kane is included in the squad for Sunday’s trip to Wolves.

The England captain has not featured this season amid continuing speculation over his future and a move to Manchester City.

Kane stayed behind to work on his fitness as Spurs were beaten 1-0 by Pacos de Ferreira in Portugal on Thursday night.

And Nuno sounded positive when asked about the striker’s condition and availability on Friday.

‘He trained today,’ said the Spurs boss. ‘He trained good. Tomorrow we will make a decision. It is a day-by-day situation.’

But Nuno did confirm that club-record signing Tanguy Ndombele will not be at Molineux this weekend.

‘I can be completely honest with you, Tanguy is not going to be involved in the squad on Sunday,’ he said.

Ndombele – a £55million arrival from Lyon two years ago – has reportedly asked to leave the club this summer.

Meanwhile, centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers looks set for a spell on the sidelines after twisting his ankle during the Europa Conference defeat by Pacos de Ferreira. Nuno said the injury ‘did not look good’.
