PSG vs Bayern Munich prediction: How will Champions League fixture play out tonight?

The unquestionable tie of the round in the Champions League quarter-finals sees PSG host Bayern Munich, with the reigning champions having it all to do. While at least a couple of the other ties seem fairly clear-cut at the halfway point, this fixture really does have everything to play for, despite PSG having a slender lead.

Bayern’s task in coming back from the 3-2 first-leg deficit will be made all the more difficult due to attacking absences, with Serge Gnabry and Robert Lewandowski out. Against that, PSG could be without first-choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas, who was injured at the weekend.

Three away goals for the French side shows their firepower and that counter-attacking threat could yet prove to be pivotal in the second leg, with Bayern needing to take the initiative – two goals is the absolute minimum they’ll need to reach the last four.

The weekend didn’t exactly bode well for their comeback chances; while PSG strode to a routine victory, Bayern laboured to a draw against Union Berlin, underlining that a minor drop in form might have come at the worst possible time.

Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the second leg.

When is the match?

The match kicks off at 8pm on Tuesday, 13 April at the Parc des Princes in Paris.

Where can I watch it?

The match will be shown live on BT Sport 3 and BT Sport Ultimate. Subscribers can stream the match via the BT Sport app and desktop website.

What is the team news?

Both teams are facing significant potential absences. PSG are without Marquinhos and Juan Bernat, while goalkeeper Keylor Navas is also a doubt after coming off at the weekend. Mauro Icardi and Layvin Kurzawa must be assessed before the match.

Bayern are missing Robert Lewandowski and Corentin Tolisso, while Serge Gnabry will also be missing. There are doubts over Niklas Sule, Lucas Hernandez and Leon Goretzka, but Kingsley Coman should be fit to play. Jerome Boateng should also make the trip despite his own knock.
