Southampton are reportedly interested in signing Celtic’s Scotland midfielder Ryan Christie.
The 26-year-old’s was an integral part of the Scotland team that qualified for this summer’s Euros; and his ability to score goals from midfield appeals to Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl.
According to The Sun Christie’s contract expires at the end of this year, so Celtic will need to sell or risk losing him on a free transfer.

Norwich and Burnley have also been linked with Christie, the Canaries are preparing for their return to the Premier League under Daniel Farke and reportedly want to pair him with his current team mate at Parkhead Kris Ajer.
Meanwhile FA Cup winners Leicester City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Ryan Bertrand from Saints on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old has agreed terms with Brendan Rodgers’ side according to Football Insider.
The Foxes boss is an admirer of the former England left-back, and he is expected to fill the void left by Christian Fuchs who will leave the club after six years at the King Power stadium.
It is believed Bertrand would also serve as a mentor to young defenders Luke Thomas and James Justin.

Rodgers worked with him when he was part of the coaching set up at Chelsea and said last year: ‘Ryan’s a player I know very well. We took him into Chelsea at 16 and he’s had a brilliant career.’
Bertrand will end his seven-year stay on the south coast when his contract expires on June 30.
Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl paid tribute to the long-serving left-back saying: ‘He has been here for seven years and he has done a good job for this club.
‘We have to move on, like with other things in life, and we will replace him in the summer.’
