Rashford admits he has found it difficult playing as a striker for Man Utd
Marcus Rashford says he enjoys having the freedom to mix his Manchester United roles, and admits he has found life difficult when played as a central striker.
The England forward has usually been seen coming off the left since the appointment of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as United manager, with Anthony Martial usually taking the role in the middle.
Rashford's ability to cut inside from the left and shoot with his right foot is crucial here, and provides an incisive attacking weapon for United.
Crucially, he also says it is a role he enjoys playing whenever he gets the opportunity.
"When you are on the left, you can create a lot more things on your own, giving that little bit more to the team," Rashford told the UTD Podcast .
"Whereas when you are playing up front, sometimes you are isolated and need someone in midfield who can find passes for 90 minutes of a game, so you can disappear in games sometimes as a number nine.
