Arsenal legend Ray Parlour would love to sink pints with current ‘party animal’ striker Gabriel Jesus.
Parlour, who spent 15 years with Arsenal and won virtually every title available, was no stranger to downing beers at the pub with teammates every Tuesday in the early to mid-nineties.
Alongside Tony Adams, Steve Bould, Nigel Winterburn and a host of others, countless hilarious and sometimes harrowing stories have emerged of the Tuesday Club’s antics, before Arsene Wenger finally put an end to their shenanigans in 1996.

Things now are very different at Arsenal, with players abiding by strict dietary and alcohol restrictions. Even former player Justin Hoyte, who emerged in the mid-2000s, claimed the Invincibles‘never went on nights out’.
But there is one player – current No.9 and samba star Gabriel Jesus – that definitely still knows how to party, according to Parlour. Speaking exclusively to Daily Star Sport via AceOdds, Parlour revealed the Brazilian ace would have slotted in perfectly at the Tuesday Club during its heyday.
Parlour said: “From what I've seen so far, I was lucky to go pre-season with them, they all seem a good bunch of lads. Our era was a little bit crazy. The early 90s was always that Tuesday club and all that.

“If I could pick one [to go on a night out with], I think what I've seen so far, I'd pick Jesus. He looks like a little party animal, and he likes a night out. I know that for a fact.
Parlour went on to add: “He seems a really good lad as well. He's always got a smile on his face. Or [Bukayo] Saka, he's always smiling.
“But if I had to pick one it's probably Jesus. I think he likes a beer more than Saka.”
Jesus is currently recovering from a serious knee injury he suffered with Brazil at the World Cup. The Gunners have missed their fleet-footed forward in pursuit of a first Premier League title since 2004, which also happened to be Parlour's last season at the club.
Manager Mikel Arteta this week offered a huge update on Jesus' recovery, saying: "He’s progressing well Doing more and more on the field, the knee is not reacting – so it’s positive.
"We want him back quickly but respect the timeline from the doctors."
