Timo Werner victim of brilliant prank with Chelsea team-mates in on the foolery

Chelsea striker Timo Werner was on the wrong end of a hilarious prank at the club's training ground, with team-mates Mason Mount and Jorginho pulling the strings.

Werner, who scored his first Premier League goal of the season against Southampton at the weekend, thought he had been brought in to film a commercial for Chelsea's Global Tyre Partners Yokohama.

What he didn't know, however, was that Mount and Jorginho were in fact pranking him behind the scenes.

As he prepared to star in the advert, Werner's Blues colleagues instructed an actor on set to put him through a series of embarrassing tasks.

The Germany striker was made to dance around a Yokohama tyre as if he was "in Mykonos", wear some terrible outfits, and pedal a faulty go-kart while making car noises.

The actor was also told by Mount and Jorginho, who were left in stitches while watching the prank play out in a separate room, to call him "Timmy" and "Timbo".
