Oliver Skipp has disclosed what the Tottenham squad think about under-fire boss Nuno Espirito Santo, with the Portuguese head coach increasingly linked with being sacked. Nuno’s reign as Spurs boss started excellently, with the London club top of the Premier League after the first three games of the season.
But since then, things have taken a turn for the worse, with Tottenham having lost their last three league matches in succession.
That includes a humiliating north London derby defeat to Arsenal, who went 3-0 up inside the first 35 minutes,
While the defeat to Chelsea could be forgiven with the Blues set to challenge for the title, the defeats to Crystal Palace and the Gunners hint at a troubling time for Nuno.
His side have conceded nine goals in their last three top-flight outings, with the Spurs boss coming under heavy pressure for his selection and tactical decisions.
Even though he is just six Premier League matches into his spell in charge of Tottenham, the likelihood of him getting sacked appears to be increasing.

One member of the Spurs squad who will hope that does not happen is Skipp, who has seen his Premier League career take off under Nuno.
The young midfielder was able to avoid the end of Jose Mourinho’s disastrous reign at Tottenham thanks to being on loan at Norwich City.
Having helped the Canaries to win the Championship title, Skipp has been promoted into the starting line-up at Spurs by Nuno.
Skipp has started nine of their 11 matches, impressing in central midfield in an otherwise challenging campaign so far.

And the 21-year-old has insisted that the Spurs squad remain fully behind their manager despite the recent poor run of form.
“As a group we are fully aware that in those last few games, we haven’t been at our best,” Skipp said.
“We’re definitely still behind the manager – and trying to implement stuff that we are working on. It was always going to take time coming into this environment.
“It was important just to get that feeling of winning again. It’s the right step and we showed signs of building on things we’ve been working on.
Skipp will hope to start on Sunday when Tottenham host Aston Villa and he called on his team-mates to make a step up in performance levels.
“There’s a lot of people that need to contribute and are more than capable of doing that,” he added.
“The players know that we have a world-class striker – and we’d be stupid not to use him.
“All of us need to step up and help create chances for him or get goals in other ways – set-pieces, things like that – so it doesn’t just fall on Harry to score the goals.”
