Transfer rumour rater including Grealish to Man Utd and Haaland to Chelsea
Transfer news is coming thick and fast ahead of the January window, with speculation suggesting there will be a lot of money thrown around.
Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal are all expected to be active in the transfer window to varying degrees after conflicting starts to the season.
Under-fire Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will likely be backed by the club’s board with a spending spree, while Liverpool are expected to be more conservative with their spending.
United, who failed to sign top target Jadon Sancho in the summer, will have Amad Diallo joining their ranks from January 1st if his work permit is granted, but they could make even more signings once the window opens.
Today’s rumours that we rate
Grealish to Man Utd
Jack Grealish has long been linked with a Manchester United transfer.
According to the Mirror, a move could be back on the cards with Aston Villa braced for bids from United and rivals Manchester City.
The playmaker signed a five-year contract extension this summer worth £100,000-per-week, but speculation suggests he could still leave.
While this one won’t happen in January, the England international could add to Manchester United or Manchester City's attacking options.
He has long been linked with the Red Devils and, with Jadon Sancho experiencing a slump in form for Borussia Dortmund, it would make sense for Grealish to jump up their priority list.

Barcelona want Rudiger
Barcelona are reportedly looking at Chelsea outcast Antonio Rudiger as a potential transfer target.
German centre-back Rudiger refused the chance to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, but has barely been involved this season.
This week, he admitted he was unhappy with his lack of playing time under Frank Lampard, and expressed his frustration with life at Chelsea.
Now, it seems he could be offered a route out of the club, with Barcelona apparently taking an interest.
Barca are struggling at the moment and are expected to part ways with some of their more experienced players in January or next summer, so bringing in a quality replacement like Rudiger makes sense.

Arsenal to save on Ozil replacement
Arsenal’s dire start to the season continued on Wednesday night as they were knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Manchester City.
The defeat fuelled the speculation over Arteta’s role at the Emirates, despite reports suggesting he will be backed by the club’s board.
They were expected to dip into the transfer market to find a replacement for Mesut Ozil, but now it seems they could end up saving a significant amount of money by bringing a replacement up from the youth ranks.
Catalin Cirjan trained with the first-team squad ahead of the City clash, and is expected to be given a chance in the coming weeks.
With pressure continuing to mount on Arteta, it makes sense that the club’s decision-makers could opt against giving him a war chest in January, and could encourage him to look to the academy.

Today’s rumours that we really don’t rate
David Alaba to Man Utd
David Alaba looks set to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season at the end of his contract.
The Austrian defender apparently has an offer on the table from Real Madrid, and Liverpool are also interested.
United are said to be interested, but are unlikely to be able to convince him that Old Trafford is the best place for him.
While they could probably meet his demands financially, they might not be able to offer him Champions League football next season – and certainly won’t be able to if they sign him in January.

Renato Sanches transfer war
Renato Sanches may have flopped during his brief spell in the Premier League with Swansea in 2017, but it seems he’s earned another crack at the competition.
The Lille star is apparently available for £18million in January, but it seems unlikely either United or Liverpool will take the plunge.
United are overflowing with quality midfielders at the moment, with Bruno Fernandes, Paul Pogba, Scott McTominay, Fred, Donny van de Beek all vying for places.
Liverpool are waiting to see if Georginio Wijnaldum signs a new contract, and still have Thiago Alcantara waiting to come back from his long-term injury.
Daily Star says: 3/10 – Would take something drastic from either interested side
Erling Haaland and Rice double bill
Erling Haaland and Declan Rice are both likely to move next summer, but speculation has now suggested they could both head to Chelsea.
Haaland, whose release clause of £68million doesn’t come into play until 2022, will likely join Real Madrid, with Los Blancos desperate to secure a deal.
In order for Chelsea to sign him and Rice, they’d have to absolutely shred Financial Fair Play, with Rice on his own set to cost at least £73m.
While the Blues will likely move for the West Ham captain, a bid for Haaland would presumably cost upwards of £150m.
Daily Star says: 1/10 – Unless Chelsea find another £250m in the transfer budget, there’s no chance of this coming off
