Transfer rumour rater: Ozil to Fenerbahce, Arsenal tipped to sign Buendia
The January transfer window is well and truly open and moves have already been made, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and West Bromwich Albion all completing deals.
A number of other Premier League clubs have been linked with spending sprees this month, with Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal among the big sides which could look to strengthen their squads.
Chelsea have been in a poor run of form recently, while Liverpool could look to bring in a centre-back with defenders Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez long-term absentees.
Here, Daily Star Sport rates and slates the biggest transfer rumours.
Rumours we rate
Ozil to Fenerbahce
Mesut Ozil has been heavily linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce and the Arsenal playmaker has fuelled speculation in a Twitter Q&A.
Asked about his future, Ozil revealed he wants to play in Turkey before he retires and admitted that "If I went to Turkey, I could only go to Fenerbahce."
He also spoke about being a Fenerbahce supporter, adding: "I grew up as a @Fenerbahce fan as a kid in Germany – every German-Turkish person supports a Turkish team when they grow up in Germany. And mine was Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce is like Real Madrid in Spain. The biggest club in the country".
Daily Star says: 9/10 – His time at Arsenal is clearly up and Fenerbahce appears to be the perfect move given Ozil's comments. The only potential stumbling block could be the player's wage demands.

Leverkusen in talks with Fosu-Mensah
Timothy Fosu-Mensah is out of contract in the summer and the Manchester Evening News claim the Manchester United player is close to joining Bayer Leverkusen.
The report claims that Fosu-Mensah rejected an offer of a new contract and has also attracted interest from Ajax and Hertha Berlin.
The 23-year-old has made just one start this season in United's 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace back in September and Fosu-Mensah is after regular first-team football.
Daily Star says: 7/10 – A move away from Old Trafford makes sense to guarantee Fosu-Mensah more minutes and a move to the Bundesliga could be a smart one.

Rumours we don't rate
Man Utd urged to make Haaland swoop
Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen has urged the club to sign Erling Haaland in the summer of bringing in ageing forwards like Edinson Cavani and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
"If you look at the recent past of Manchester United, they have been buying a lot of players that have been coming to the twilight of their career – when you look at Cavani, before that Ibrahimovic, before that Van Persie, Henrik Larsson," he said.
"The last one they bought early on in their career is Wayne Rooney. At least then you have got a player that is going to last you for 10 years.
"I think the one player out there that springs to mind, a player that could be in their team for 10 years and stop them having to buy stop-gaps all the time, is Haaland at Dortmund."
Daily Star says: 5/10 – United are clearly interested in signing Haaland but the player is one of the most in demand strikers in world football and they will face stiff competition if they are to lure him to Old Trafford.

Arsenal tipped to sign Buendia
Arsenal have been heavily linked with Norwich City star Emiliano Buendia and former Gunners striker Kevin Campbell believes he could be a "very clever signing".
Speaking to Football Insider, Campbell said: "I think he (Buendia) would be a very clever signing. I like him. He has the qualities that Mikel Arteta is looking for in a player. Not only can he pick a pass, he can score and he works hard.
"He has that energy which has been missing from the team for long periods of this season. I think there is some really good players in the Championship and Buendia is one of them. He would fit what Arteta wants to do perfectly."
Daily Star says: 5/10 – After spending big on Thomas Partey in the summer, it seems unlikely Arsenal will fork out big money in January and Norwich are unwilling to sell Buendia as they chase promotion.
