Tyrone Mings ‘misses Aston Villa’s team bus back home’ after defeat by Tottenham

Aston Villa ace Tyrone Mings was spotted outside Tottenham's stadium on Sunday, with fans believing he missed the team bus home.

Mings was filmed after Villa's 2-1 defeat with the defender on the phone and holding a suitcase.

It's unclear whether he was due to be on the team bus back, which had already departed to the Midlands.

Though fans presumed he was expected on the coach, with one writing: "Deano leaving the subs far too late is one thing, leaving your club captain stranded is quite another. Most odd."

While another put: "That is mental how do you leave the big man behind."

Mings is part of the England squad for the upcoming international matches having played the full 90 minutes against Spurs.

"We started both halves well. There was a 10-minute spell in the first half where we looked a bit stressed, but we covered that.

"Second half we looked better and stretched play a lot quicker and got our rewards.

"We huffed and puffed after that but there wasn't much in the game. We had some good moments in the penalty box without them turning into really good chances. It just wasn't to be today."
