"Unhappy" Mo Salah sent Liverpool reminder after he opens door to Real Madrid
Mohamed Salah has been reminded of the 2018 Champions League final and the way Sergio Ramos treated him after opening the door to Real Madrid.
Salah refused to rule out a move to La Liga in a recent interview amid claims he is "unhappy" at Anfield and Liverpool are considering cashing in on him.
Salah casually played down the claims on social media, but has received a message from former Liverpool striker John Aldridge, who has told the Egyptian to cast his mind back to that fateful night in Ukraine.
The 28-year-old was playing in his first Champions League final when he was injured on the half-hour mark following a tussle with Ramos.
The Real Madrid defender fell awkwardly on Salah's arm, forcing the Egyptian to leave the pitch in tears with a shoulder problem.

Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo: "Personally, I think after the experience of the Champions League final and the way Ramos treated him, I'd have had a hatred for Real Madrid if it was me, after that incident.
"It wouldn't appeal to me but I wouldn't want to leave Liverpool anyway."
He added: "We're talking about one of the very best forwards in the world. [Sadio] Mane, Salah – they're always going to be linked with Real Madrid.
"It's up to Jurgen Klopp and what he wants. You have to trust the manager to deal with such situations when they arise in the right way.
"Players are so strong now, if they want to go then they'll go. End of story."
Salah recently opened the door to Real Madrid when he told Spanish publication AS that his future at Liverpool is in the Anfield club's hands.
He said: "Who knows what will happen. But right now I am focused on winning the Premier League and the Champions League with Liverpool again."
When pressed to give a more extensive answer, he added: "That's a tough question, but right now I can say that everything is in the hands of the club.
"Of course I want to break records here and, I repeat, all the club records, but everything is in the hands of the club."
Since then his former international team-mate Mohamed Aboutrika has claimed Salah is unhappy at Liverpool and could leave.
"I called Salah about his situation at Liverpool and he is upset, but that would never affect his performance on the field," Aboutrika told beIN Sports.
"I know that Salah is not happy in Liverpool, he told me the reasons why he is not happy but they are secrets and I cannot talk about it in public. One of the reasons that made Salah angry was that he was not the captain against Midtjylland."
