Zinedine Zidane has stunned football fans by showing off his technical mastery in a game of 5-a-side with his sons.

The midfield magician displayed immaculate control as he was filmed in a series of clips in which he joined sons Elyaz, Driss, Theo and Luca for a kick-about.

Zidane was seen on Instagram enjoying time off from coaching, having stepped down as Real Madrid manager at the end of last season.

The Frenchman showed that class is permanent 15 years to the day from when he completely annihilated a star-studded Brazil team with his elegance at the 2006 World Cup.

The clips show Zidane dribbling and dummying his way through the opposition with ease at an activity centre in Aix-en-Provence, France.

He left his management post on May 26 for the second time, citing the breakdown in relationship between himself and club president Florentino Perez as the reason.

His Los Blancos side narrowly missed out on a La Liga title last season after finishing two points behind rivals Atletico Madrid which was deemed a perfect time to depart from his home of 20 years.

Zidane has since been linked with a number of positions, including manager of the French National Team, which will only gain more traction after Les Bleus were knocked out with a whimper at Euro 2020.

Do you think Zidane will take over from Deschamps as France manager after they crashed out of the Euros? Let us know in the comments section.

World Cup-winning boss Didier Deschamps made a number of catastrophic errors such as taking off Antoine Griezmann before extra-time and choosing to play Adrien Rabiot at left-wing back.

Zidane is reportedly waiting on the side-lines for the role to open up, though Deschamps’ credentials and great relationship with the French Football Federation means it is unlikely he will be sacked from the post.
